Melon de Bourgogne
Muscadet’s best-known hillside heartland, with much more than a simple oyster wine.
Melon de Bourgogne.
Citrus and orchard fruit with a dry, savoury finish. Extended lees ageing can bring breadth and more complex, nutty notes.
Sur lie and the named communal crus reveal different textures and levels of development. Longer lees-aged bottles can be rewarding with richer seafood dishes.
