Tre Monti

Italy

Tre Monti is a family-owned winery in Emilia-Romagna, founded in the early 1970s by Sergio and Thea Navacchia and now run by their sons David and Vittorio. Based across two complementary hillside estates near Imola and Forlì, the family works with detailed knowledge of varied soils and micro-zones. Tre Monti has long combined experimentation with a strong sense of place, from early high-density plantings and non-traditional varieties to pioneering Georgian amphora winemaking in Romagna. Its style centers on minimal-intervention, natural wines with low or no added sulfites, including amphora-aged Albana, alongside sustainable farming with cover cropping, low chemical use, and biodynamic principles.
