Domaine Michel Thibaut

France

Domaine Michel Thibaut is a family-run estate in Poligny, in France’s Jura, founded in 2014 by Michel and Catherine Thibaut. Michel has worked as a Jura viticulturist since 1989 and leads the winemaking, drawing on experience from several wine regions. The domaine focuses on flavorful, accessible AOP Côtes du Jura wines that express the local terroir. Vineyard management emphasizes environmental respect through grass cover, soil work, reduced tillage, and careful use of inputs and machinery, without stated formal certification. In the cellar, traditional winemaking methods are combined with modern technology, reflecting the couple’s passion and traditional know-how.
