Domaine Macle

Domaine Macle is a family-owned estate in Jura, with the Macle family farming here since the 1850s. Based on the Grand Cru slopes of Château-Chalon, the domaine farms 12 hectares, planted mainly to Chardonnay and Savagnin, on grey marl and limestone soils. Organic certified from the 2020 vintage, the estate follows organic farming as part of a terroir-focused approach. Winemaking is led by owner Laurent Macle. The range includes Chardonnay, including the ouillé style, as well as Château-Chalon and other traditional Jura wines.
