Domaine Clavel

France

Domaine Clavel is a multigenerational family estate in Saint-Gervais, in the southern Rhône Valley, led by Claire Clavel alongside her father Denis and a dedicated team. Its vineyards extend across five communes and a mosaic of sandy, clay-limestone, sandstone and stony soils, producing wines marked by freshness, authenticity and character. The domaine is a Vigneron Indépendant, making its wines in its own cellar, and practices sustainable viticulture certified by Terra Vitis and HVE3, with a focus on biodiversity and respect for the environment. Traditional vinification is carried out by grape variety and parcel, while Claire’s star-inspired cuvée names express a more imaginative vision of wine. The estate’s history is traced to 1640, with family continuity and a modern, passionate approach at its core.
