About Rhône Valley

Rhône Valley wines connect two contrasting French vineyard worlds. Northern slopes bring Syrah reds and fragrant whites from grapes such as Viognier and Marsanne; further south, Grenache joins Syrah, Mourvèdre and other varieties in a broad blend tradition. Rosés and characterful whites add further discoveries. From steep terraces to Mediterranean plains and hills, the individual appellation helps explain the variety behind the shared Rhône name.
