Producer

La Osa

Spain

La Osa is an independent, small-batch producer in Castilla y León, founded and run by winemaker Noelia de Paz in 2011. Working with organic, dry-farmed vines on clay and limestone soils, it focuses on native Tierra de León varieties, including Albarín white and Prieto Picudo red. Grapes come from local farmers in Valdemimbre, with additional collaboration among neighboring vineyards in Bierzo and Rías Baixas. Natural fermentation and minimal mechanical intervention support wines that emphasize an authentic sense of place, with balanced acidity, oak, and alcohol.
