Château Val d'Arenc

France

Château Val d’Arenc is a historic family estate in Provence, owned and operated by the Sénéclauze family near Le Beausset. Its organically certified vineyards, converted in 2017, lie on steep west- and east-facing terraces of clay-limestone marl and sandy, fossil-rich soils; more than half the vines are over 45 years old. Since 2015, Burgundian-trained winemaker Gérald Damidot has overseen the cellar, combining de-stemming, gentle pressing and cold maceration. The estate brings together longstanding family ownership, organic farming and a careful, modern approach to winemaking.
