Erial

Bodegas Epifanio Rivera is a family-owned winery founded in 2004 by the Rivera-Aparicio family in Pesquera de Duero, Ribera del Duero. It works exclusively with estate-grown grapes from approximately 30 hectares, including parcels of more than 80 years old and some vines approaching a century. The family preserves a distinctive local clone and cultivates its vineyards traditionally, in an integrated relationship with the natural environment. Winemaking combines respect for tradition with modern techniques, with Epifanio Rivera personally involved in the work. A 16th-century underground cellar and traditional lagar reflect the estate’s viticultural heritage, while annual production remains limited to around 100,000 bottles. The wines express the family’s vineyards and the character of their historic site.
