Château Les Combes is a family Bordeaux estate with roots in the late 19th century, now led by Frédéric Borderie, who joined the family business after studying oenology and working in vineyards in France and abroad. Its Lussac-Saint-Émilion vineyard lies on a historic plateau where vines have been cultivated for over a thousand years, with clay-limestone soils and Gallo-Roman remains. The old vines receive meticulous manual attention, including systematic disbudding, suckering and leaf removal, while harvesting is carried out carefully at aromatic or very ripe maturity. The estate produces Lussac-Saint-Émilion alongside dry and sweet Bordeaux whites, rosé and Crémant, using protected vatting and temperature-controlled fermentation to preserve freshness and fruit. Some wines are aged on fine lees or in French oak, according to style.
