Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is a historic, family-owned Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, with a history dating to the 13th century. Owned by the Borie family since 1941 and personally managed by Bruno-Eugène Borie since 2003, it remains a dedicated family operation. The 105-hectare estate (with about 75 hectares under vine) practices certified organic farming and maintains a strong commitment to sustainability, including regenerative fallow and HVE3 certification. Winemaking emphasizes meticulous, parcel-by-parcel vinification, severe selection, and 18-month aging in new French oak, producing a refined, elegant style. The estate combines deep tradition with innovation and a passionate, hands-on approach to viticulture and winemaking.
