Torroxal is produced by family-owned Adegas Valmiñor, founded in 1997 in the O Rosal valley of Rías Baixas, Galicia. The winery works with vines over 25 years old, sourcing most grapes from the Condado do Tea area along the Miño River. Under winemaker Álvaro Bueno, Albariño is hand-harvested, pressed without skin contact, and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel. Up to 25% of the wine is aged for six months in used French oak, combining a fresh, precise approach with added texture and complexity.
