Domaine H is a Danish-owned, family-run estate in Côte de Brouilly, on the southern slope of Mont de Brouilly. The vineyard is planted to 55–75-year-old Gamay on blue stone, granite and schist, producing powerful, structured wines with mineral notes. The estate has been farmed organically since 2018 and certified organic in 2022, while also following biodynamic and agroecological principles. Grapes are harvested by hand, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and wines are aged in oak and tanks before being bottled on site. The domaine’s stated aim is to leave the soil healthier and more sustainable, while expressing quality Beaujolais distinct from Beaujolais Nouveau.
