Aquilani is a family-run estate in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, owned and operated by Claudio Aquilani and his son Michele. Their terraced vineyards, reaching 350 metres, are managed organically and biodynamically under EU Bio certification, with animal-driven ploughing and a strong emphasis on biodiversity. Grapes are harvested by hand, while spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts reflect a low-intervention approach. Claudio and Michele seek purity and complexity through minimal manipulation, placing the character of the vineyard at the centre of their wines.
