Targé Tradition

Château de Targé is a historic, family-owned estate in Parnay, near Saumur, run by the Targé family since 1655 and now led by Paul and Edouard Pisani-Ferry. Its clay and tuffeau limestone vineyards are farmed organically, with worked and grassed soils, natural compost, hedgerows and biodiversity zones recreated annually since 2005. The estate has held Terra Vitis certification since 2000, the High Environmental Value label since 2014, and organic certification since 2020. Producing Saumur and Saumur-Champigny wines, including isolated clos, it seeks fresh, fine, mineral and fruit-driven expressions of Loire terroir.
