Producer

Feudi del Pisciotto

Italy

Feudi del Pisciotto is a Sicily producer and wine relais in the Val di Noto, part of the Domini Castellare di Castellina group. Its vineyards lie near the Sughereta di Niscemi Nature Reserve, at around 250 metres altitude and close to the sea, with both native grapes such as Nero d’Avola and Frappato and international varieties planted from 2002 onward. The estate emphasizes sustainability through hand harvesting, gravity-fed movement of grapes to fermentation tanks, reduced pump use, barrique ageing, and bottling on lower levels to limit energy use and CO2 emissions. Winemaking is led by Alessandro Cellai and shaped by the influence of Giacomo Tachis. Feudi del Pisciotto also links wine with culture through its Grandi Stilisti Collection, which helps fund Sicilian art restoration.
