Domaine de Grand Pré is a family-owned estate in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley, founded in 1994 by Swiss immigrant Hanspeter Stutz and described as Atlantic Canada’s oldest farm winery. The winery remains in Stutz family hands, with Jürg Stutz, a Swiss-trained winemaker, leading production and Beatrice Stutz overseeing operations. Its wines are made exclusively from 100% Nova Scotia-grown grapes. Notes also point to a broader collaborative team around the estate, including Caitlyn McNamara, Erin Carroll, and Cat Taylor. No sustainability certifications or production scale details are disclosed.
