Cascina Penna-Currado

Italy

Cascina Penna-Currado is a family-run project in Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont, founded by Elena Penna and Luca Currado-Vietti, with their children Giulia and Michele involved. Rooted in the Langhe since the 19th century, the estate brings together long family experience in viticulture with a new venture launched in 2023. Farming is organic, with a strong focus on biodiversity, energy efficiency, and environmentally respectful practices. The vineyards include old-vine Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and Timorasso in carefully selected sites in Barolo, San Sebastiano, and Timorasso areas. Luca leads winemaking, while Elena oversees production, hospitality, and commercial work. Their style is framed by freshness, contemporaneity, and a forward-looking interpretation of Langhe tradition.
