Tenute SalvaTerra

Italy

Founded by the Furia brothers in the 1990s, Tenute Salvaterra remains under the stewardship of the Furia heirs alongside entrepreneurial investors. Based in Cengia, San Pietro in Cariano, in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, the estate is housed at the historic Villa Giona, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees, cypresses and dry-stone walls. It cultivates native Veronese varieties including Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, combining local viticultural traditions with contemporary knowledge and techniques. The winery emphasizes sustainable farming and environmental respect, and participates in research focused on irrigation, soil management, carbon sequestration, reduced pesticide and water use, and lower-impact winemaking. Chief winemaker Beppe Caviola oversees wines shaped by the region’s distinctive soils, landscape and long viticultural heritage.
