Pelassa is a family-owned winery founded in 1960 by Mario Pelassa and Maria Teresa Viglione in Roero, Piedmont. Today, Davide and Daniele Pelassa lead the third generation, with Davide overseeing viticulture and Daniele managing commercial and communication activities. The winery focuses on Nebbiolo and other Piedmontese varieties, seeking to express the distinctive character of each grape, vintage and terroir. Its clay- and sand-rich Roero vineyards are farmed with respect for nature, while the winery incorporates photovoltaic power, water recovery, insulation and a ventilated roof. Pelassa combines tradition with research and continuous improvement, pursuing authentic, elegant and savoury wines that reflect their territory.
