Producer

Franck Massard

Spain

Franck Massard is a Catalonia-based producer rooted in Priorat, where he runs a boutique estate focused on small-batch, high-quality wines. The project began in 2004 with a vineyard in Priorat and has since expanded to other Spanish regions, often through collaborations with local winemakers and friends who share his commitment to place and craftsmanship. Massard remains the primary owner and winemaker, including partnerships for projects such as Signature Wines and Les 3 Amis in Galicia. Farming is fully organic and strongly sustainability-driven, with regenerative “black earth” practices and a clear emphasis on biodiversity through herbs, flowers, fruit trees, almonds, and olives in and around the vineyards. The style is artisanal and deliberately limited in production, with an emphasis on local varieties, micro-productions, and wines shaped by the distinct character of each region.
