Lacroix-Martillac is a historic Pessac-Léognan estate owned and operated by the Kressmann family, now represented by Tristan, Loïc and Edouard. Its vineyards include gravel-rich red plots and clay-limestone sites for white varieties. Farming follows an integrated approach, with biodiversity strips, hedgerows, floral fallow, horse-drawn ploughing, limited chemical inputs, effluent recycling and fuel-saving equipment. White wines are made under winemaker Valérie Vialard, with manual harvesting and barrel ageing, while the family manages the red winemaking. The estate maintains the legacy of its 1953 Graves classification while developing its broader range.
