Louis Boillot is a family-run Burgundy domaine founded in 2002 following the split of the Lucien Boillot holdings. Based in Burgundy, with vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin and small parcels across the Côte d’Or, the estate is led by Louis Boillot with Clément Boillot. Farming follows a reasoned organic, lutte raisonnée approach, with ploughed soils, no chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides, plus hand pruning and hand harvesting. In the cellar, the style is minimal-intervention: 100% destemmed fruit, spontaneous fermentations, limited new oak, frigid cave maceration, and extended barrel ageing. The domaine shares cellar facilities with Ghislaine Barthod while remaining fully independent.
