Château La Bridane

France

Château La Bridane is a small, independent family estate in Saint-Julien, Bordeaux, owned by the Saintout family for nearly three centuries and now operated by its eleventh generation. Bruno Saintout has served as owner, manager and head winemaker since 1984, alongside Pierre-Simon and Noëlie Saintout. The estate’s winemaking is fully conducted on-site, from vinification through aging and bottling. Its vineyards lie on classic Saint-Julien gravel soils and are farmed using lutte raisonnée, with partially plowed rows to maintain ground cover. The approach reflects a hands-on, modestly sustainable family tradition.
