Producer

Chateau Ste. Michelle

United States

Founded in 1967, Chateau Ste. Michelle is Washington’s founding winery, based in Woodinville and focused on expressive wines that highlight the Columbia Valley. Alongside its broad portfolio, it produces small-lot and limited-release bottlings, including top-tier red wines featured in dedicated tasting experiences. In 2025, the estate returned to local, private family ownership under the Wyckoff family, its first such ownership in more than 50 years. Sustainability is a clear priority, with Washington State EnviroStar certification and programs aimed at reducing energy and water use while expanding recycling across winery materials and electronic waste.
