Appassimento Rosso

Founded in 1999 by Leonardo Pizzolo, Passi Reali is a family-owned boutique estate in Abruzzo’s Maiella National Park. It works with native Trebbiano and Montepulciano, focusing on single-parcel wines. The estate is certified organic and follows biodynamic and vegan practices, with native yeasts and wild-yeast fermentations shaping its winemaking. The Pizzolo family retains ownership, while Emmanuel Merlo leads the cellar and Giulia Migliorati oversees operations.
