Marchetti is a family-run winery in the Conero region of Marche, founded in the last century and now directed by Dr. Maurizio Marchetti, a fifth-generation agronomist and winemaker. The estate grows Verdicchio and Montepulciano and produces limited quantities from deliberately ultra-low yields. Maurizio Marchetti oversees winemaking with enologist Lorenzo Landi, using modern, safe technology, a pneumatic “flower” press, free-run juice for premium wines, and multiple harvest cycles to achieve optimal ripeness. The winery’s approach emphasizes careful, low-yield viticulture, although no formal sustainability certifications are cited.
