Marche wine country stretches from Adriatic-facing hills to inland valleys, offering far more than one signature white or red. Verdicchio links the Castelli di Jesi hills with the separate, more inland Matelica valley, each with its own DOC and riserva DOCG identities. Around Offida, Pecorino and Passerina offer distinctive whites while Montepulciano gives the red a different voice.
