Verdicchio
Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi offers a versatile Marche white-wine journey through the hills around the Esino valley.
Citrus, apple and almond-like notes with a dry palate and fresh acidity.
Verdicchio is central to this DOC, with different named wine types and a Classico historical-area designation adding detail. Fresh still whites offer an accessible starting point, while sparkling and passito expressions reveal other possibilities. The riserva wine has its own Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCG identity. Compare the full label, producer and ageing approach, and keep the separate inland Matelica origin in view when exploring the region’s signature grape.
