Loredan Gasparini is a family-run producer in Veneto’s Montello and Asolo area, led by Giancarlo Palla with his sons Alberto and Lorenzo. Based in Venegazzù, about 50 km north of Venice, the estate works vineyards in Venegazzù and Giavera del Montello, where all grapes for its Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG are grown. The winery emphasizes a close link to territory, with red, clay-rich, mineral soils and a cool microclimate shaped by the Pre-Alps. Farming focuses on biodiversity and organic viticulture, including cover crops, green manure, and reintroduction of old tree species, supported by organic and carbon-footprint certifications. Historically, the estate helped shape the identity of Venegazzù through Bordeaux varieties and later expanded into sparkling wines, producing Prosecco and Metodo Classico with a strong terroir-driven approach, including fermentation with indigenous yeast for its Prosecco.
