Château Puyfromage is a family-run estate in Saint-Cibard, in the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux, on elevated clay-limestone sites extending the Saint-Émilion limestone plateau. Owned by the four Marque brothers, Yves, Francis, Philippe and Frédéric, it continues a multigenerational family legacy. The vineyard is managed plot by plot, with grassed soils, soil work, organic amendments, no herbicides, reasoned pest control and mechanical leaf removal. The estate has pursued organic viticulture since 2021 and holds Ecocert AB certification. Winemaking is conducted with consulting oenologist Daniel Millet and emphasizes precise, temperature-controlled fermentation, long macerations, daily tasting and controlled aeration to develop aromatic expression and fine tannins.
