Italy

Folonari is a historic Italian family winery whose roots in Brescia date to the late 18th century. Today, Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari lead a portfolio centred on five Tuscan estates, spanning Chianti Classico, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bolgheri and Montecucco, alongside properties in other Italian regions. The family acquired Tenuta del Cabreo in 1967 and Tenuta di Nozzole in 1971, while Tenuta La Fuga has been part of the group since 2001. Their wines emphasise elegance, individual identity and a strong connection to each territory, from Sangiovese-based Brunello and Chianti Classico to Bolgheri blends and Maremma expressions. No specific sustainability practices or certifications are mentioned.
