About Valtellina Rosso/Rosso di Valtellina DOC

Where it grows

In the defined Valtellina vineyard area of Sondrio province, along the Adda valley.

Rosso di Valtellina, also named Valtellina Rosso, is a DOC dry red led by Nebbiolo, locally called Chiavennasca. It provides another perspective on the valley alongside Valtellina Superiore DOCG and dried-grape Sforzato. Those names describe different specifications rather than a guarantee that one bottle will suit every drinker better. Follow the producer and vintage to explore the balance between fragrant fruit, freshness and tannin.
