Irouléguy brings Basque hillside vineyards into focus, with structured reds, characterful rosés and vivid dry whites.
Tannat, Cabernet Franc.
Dark berries, herbs and spice with freshness and firm, dry tannins.
Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng, Petit Courbu.
Citrus, orchard fruit and herbs with bright acidity and a textured, dry finish.
Irouléguy AOP combines steep vineyard settings with a distinctive Basque wine culture. Tannat and Cabernet Franc lead the red-wine story, while Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng and Courbu-family grapes introduce the dry whites. Terrace exposure and soils vary across the area. The same protected origin therefore offers more than one colour or grape blend. Explore a white alongside a red to appreciate how local varieties interpret this foothill landscape.
