Capriano del Colle DOC gives this low hill a specific wine identity. Trebbiano varieties contribute to the white wines, while Marzemino, Merlot and Sangiovese shape the red blend. Varietal expressions add further routes through the denomination. The neighbouring Montenetto di Brescia IGT has a different scope and greater flexibility.
