North Fork of Long Island offers a more focused maritime origin for New York’s reds and whites.
Dark and red fruit with savoury tannins and freshness shaped by the vintage.
Orchard fruit and citrus with texture varying through lees and oak choices.
North Fork of Long Island is a smaller AVA within Long Island. Merlot and Cabernet Franc offer familiar red-wine routes, with Chardonnay and other whites adding contrast. Its peninsula setting does not guarantee identical soils or ripeness across vineyards. Compare vineyard, vintage and producer, and distinguish the bottle’s named AVA from the address of its tasting room.
