Falanghina from Beneventano IGT offers an accessible introduction to the bright white wines of inland Campania.
Lemon, apple and flowers with freshness and a gently rounded palate.
Falanghina is the grape in this catalogue label; the protected geographical name is Benevento or Beneventano IGT. It is distinct from Falanghina del Sannio DOC, even when a producer makes both. The broader IGT also permits other grapes and wine colours, so Falanghina does not describe the whole designation. Follow the complete label and named wine type to distinguish a fresh still white from other permitted expressions.
