Producer

Xavier Vignon

France

Xavier Vignon is an independently owned Rhône Valley domaine and label led by Xavier Vignon himself, an oenologist, consultant, and winemaker with deep roots in the Southern Rhône. Working across sites including Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Rasteau, and the Dentelles de Montmirail, he draws on varied soils such as rolled pebbles, clay, limestone, and gravel. The estate is described as certified organic, with a style shaped by precise blending, terroir expression, and a mix of scientific rigor and low-intervention intent. Vignon is especially known for creative multi-terroir and multi-vintage cuvées, reserve wines, and innovative ageing methods developed to preserve purity, freshness, and complexity.
