Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg

Austria

Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg is a historic monastic estate in Niederösterreich, owned by the Cistercian Abbey of Zwettl and operated by Michael and Eva Moosbrugger under a long-term lease since 1996. Michael leads the winemaking, with Eva assisting, and the estate focuses primarily on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling while also producing sparkling, red, and sweet wines. Its vineyards are farmed using organic and ecological practices, including organic fertiliser, no herbicides, and reduced plant-protection products. The estate is a member of the Österreichische Traditionsweingüter (ÖTW) and the Sustainable Austria programme.
