Producer

William Downie

Australia

William Downie is a Victoria-based producer focused on Pinot Noir, with vineyards in Gippsland and fruit sourced from the King Valley, Yarra Valley and Upper Goulburn. Founded in 2003, the estate is owned and run by William Downie and his wife Rachel, who manage both the Guendulain farm and the label together. The wines are made under William Downie’s direction with a minimal-intervention, natural approach. Certified organic, farmed with biodynamic practices, and a member of Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, the estate is defined by hands-on family ownership, sustainable viticulture and a clear focus on site-driven Pinot Noir.
