Vinum Cellars

United States

Founded in Napa Valley in 1997 by first-generation California winemakers Richard Bruno and Chris Condos, Vinum Cellars remains privately owned and both founders serve as its winemakers. The winery focuses on handcrafted, small-lot wines from single vineyards and appellations across California, working exclusively with sustainable growers. Its portfolio spans Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Petite Sirah and other varieties, with fruit sourced from sites including Napa, Sonoma, Monterey, El Dorado, Clarksburg and Paso Robles. Winemaking combines an old-world approach with ongoing experimentation, emphasizing ripe, balanced fruit, careful vineyard separation and varietal expression. Practices include cool harvesting, native yeast fermentation on some wines, barrel fermentation and aging, and minimal intervention. Vinum also uses lightweight recyclable packaging and water-based inks, reflecting its broader focus on quality, value and responsible production.
