Domaine Henri & Gilles Buisson is a long-established family estate in Saint-Romain, with the Buisson family working vines there for eight generations. Founded by Henri Buisson and later developed by Gilles and Monica Buisson, it is now led by brothers Franck and Frédérick, who represent the next generation. The domaine has been certified organic since 2009 and biodynamic since 2018, reflecting a deeply eco-conscious approach focused on protecting the ecosystem, limiting intervention, and preserving the identity of each climat. In the cellar, they work with gravity flow and minimal sulfur, including sulfur-free élevage for some reds, aiming for wines of depth, elegance, and strong terroir character.
