Boca

Davide Carlone is a small, family-owned estate in Boca, Alto Piemonte, where he farms 7–11 hectares of ancient vines on volcanic soils. Production is extremely limited, with around 3,000 bottles of Nebbiolo and related blends released annually. The vineyards are managed organically and biodynamically, though without formal certification, using cover crops, composting, recycling, natural fertilizers and hand-trimmed vines. Carlone is the owner and primary winemaker, working with consultant enologist Emiliano Falsini and cellar partner Cristiano Garella. Their wines follow a low-intervention philosophy, relying on native yeasts.
