La Ferme des Confluences

France

Founded in 2022 in Saint-Fiacre-sur-Maine, Ferme des Confluences is a collaborative, human-scale estate in the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine region, between the Sèvre and Maine rivers. Its organically farmed vineyards include granodiorite at Château-Thébaud and gneiss at Saint-Fiacre, with plantings of Melon de Bourgogne, Folle Blanche, Chardonnay, Côt and Égiodola. The team prioritizes careful vineyard work: Guyot Poussard pruning, debudding, soil cultivation, manual harvesting and minimal machinery. Fermentations use indigenous yeasts with minimal inputs, while the wines are aged in underground and above-ground fiberglass and stainless-steel tanks and French oak barrels. Bottling is carried out without fining or filtration, preserving the estate’s terroir-focused, low-intervention style.
