Bine is a family-run winery and agritourism estate in Novi Ligure, one of the municipalities within Piedmont’s Gavi DOCG area. Founded in 2000, with its first vintage in 2005, the Ghio family estate is now run by brothers Niccolò and Lorenzo alongside the older generation. Its 11 hectares form one vineyard on south- and southwest-facing slopes of two adjacent hills, shaped by the area’s proximity to Liguria and continental temperatures. Bine produces Gavi DOCG from 100% Cortese, as well as Barbera, combining tradition with innovation while focusing on the local terroir. The winery’s philosophy centres on time, patience and passionate dedication, with an emphasis on producing a small number of exceptional bottles from carefully selected rows.
