Tyrrell's

Australia

Tyrrell’s is a Hunter Valley pioneer, founded in 1858 and still entirely family owned and operated. Led by fourth-generation winemaker Bruce Tyrrell, with the next generations already involved, the estate is rooted in historic vineyards including old dry-grown sites and Sacred Sites plantings, some dating back to the 19th century. The winery is known for premium single-vineyard, small-production and collectable wines, with a minimal-intervention approach in both vineyard and cellar. Sustainability is a clear focus, with Sustainable Winegrowing Australia certification, low-input and organic farming practices, hand harvesting, water conservation and ongoing packaging improvements.
