Firmino Miotti

Italy

Firmino Miotti is a historic family-run winery in Breganze, within the DOC Breganze appellation of Veneto. Rooted in the mid-19th century, the estate was taken over by Firmino from his father in the 1950s and is now managed with his wife, Pina, and daughter Franca, who leads the winemaking. Vineyards lie on volcanic hills, with manual harvesting, minimal intervention, attention to biodiversity, and the recovery of rare local varieties including Gruajo, Pedevendo, Marzemina Bianca, and Groppello di Breganze. The wines combine traditional methods with considered modernization, limited additives, and selected wood ageing, expressing the character of the territory and its agricultural heritage.
