Château Bellevue

France

Château Bellevue is a family-owned Beaujolais estate within the Maison Jean Loron portfolio, with historic ties to the Lumière brothers. The vineyards include significant holdings in the Crus de Beaujolais and are managed and vinified by Élodie Rousselot, with Frédéric Maignet also involved in winemaking. The estate combines low yields with an increasing focus on organic production: parts of the vineyards, including Pierre d’Orée and Beaujolais Blanc, are organically certified, while 60% of the red wines are produced organically. Recent vintages have also included sulfur-free vinifications, reflecting a hands-on, sustainability-minded approach.
