Bruno Giacometto is a small, family-owned estate near Caluso in Piedmont’s morainic foothills, led and worked by sole owner and winemaker Bruno Giacometto. Its vineyards, certified organic by ICEA since 2019, lie at 300–350 metres in sandy, stony soils shaped by ancient Mont Blanc glacier deposits. The estate follows low-intervention, natural winemaking practices, including spontaneous fermentation, pre-cryomaceration, minimal sulfite use and lees contact. Erbaluce is the focus, made in both still and traditional-method sparkling styles, alongside native reds including Nebbiolo, Barbera, Neretto and Freisa. The wines express the site’s characteristic minerality, sapidity and vibrant acidity, with vineyards trained in the traditional Pergola Canavesana system.
