Founded in 1935 by Catalan immigrant Miguel Viu García and his sons, Viu Manent is a family-rooted winery in Chile’s Colchagua Valley. The estate focuses on sustainable farming and wine tourism, with a recently obtained sustainability certification, and produces single-vineyard and premium wines expressing sites including San Carlos, La Capilla, and El Olivar. Malbec is its flagship variety, alongside Carmenère and Cabernet Sauvignon. Its Secreto range offers fresh, aromatic wines based on lesser-known varieties, each incorporating a carefully guarded 15% blend; the line is certified vegan. The winery combines traditional craftsmanship with modern sustainable practices and is internationally recognized for quality.
